    oil cooler

What is the maximum length of the oil cooler lines from the engine to the engine oil cooler? The lines are like 6' a piece and -10an [5/8" OD]. The cooler itself is 7x11 inches...

I am curious because I am considering re-routing the lines...

Never heard of any specific length required, or max length. How are they routed now?

They come straight foward and around the radiator to the cooler. I want to re-run them so they are out of the way more.

Go for it. There should be no max length.

Length should be no problem, as long as you keep the same size lines and fittings.
