Can anyone tell me what the idle is supposed to be set at for a 1986 MGM with the 5.0L motor? This weekend going to pull the iac back off,clean everything out,and check a few other things. I want to see what the idle is set at.

672 actually. Its self-adjusting. That screw is not an idle adjustment screw. The computer takes care of things with the IAC.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

reguardless what monitors it there should be a sticker on your fan shroud or under hood that gives you this info along with timing, plug gap ect.My wife and I.sigpicComment
