Is there a difference between the two pulleys? I'm doing a 351 swap and need to know.

There is a difference in offset between Mustang 302 and Crown Vic 351W crank pulleys. The 351 setup protrudes something like .420" further out from the front of the engine. I know that's not panther vs. panther but maybe it helps.

same pulley as far as I know. You do need the 351 balancer and flexplate though. They are not the same as 302 parts. Looks the same, but the balance is wrong and you'll shake things apart if you use the wrong ones.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

The balancer and flexplate are definitely not. They are for a 28 ounce imbalance, and 302's made after 1982 use a 50 ounce. Its the same as the early 302, but not whats in your car. Bolts up and looks basically the same, but its just not. The pulley itself is the same though.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
