No start, no crank, but click from fender relay - 1989 Town Car

    if hooked up right, the gear reducer starter pulls very little through the fender relay, just enough to pull the solenoid on the starter itself. The actual stater I think does pull less power too but its direct from the battery side so the fender relay doesn't care. The old chunky starter ran full current through the starter relay contacts.
