    Likely a stupid question re: brakes

    How many pads per wheel in the front?


    Shoes in back?

    When looking at rockauto prices on brake pads etc...am I looking at the price for one or is this stuff sold as a set?


    know of anything else I will probably have to order in multiples when doing brakes?

    Front pads come in sets to do both wheels, so a box of 4. Rears come as a set, so a box of 4. Prices are always per set. There is a long and a short shoe in the back, and the short one needs to be forward. Long shoe forward will make the back tire try and lock up on you.

      Rockauto had motorcraft pads on sale, I assumed they came for one wheel so I ordered two...they canceled it for me because there was only one left in stock so I guess they thought the same. Anyway, I got my order today and brake pads came in it even though I thought I was credited for it....4 pads in the box so I got confused
