Thanks for the info. I was going to use www.coilsprings.com, but the circle track springs look good.

Front and rear spring rates should be matched. Don't use PI springs in the rear and race springs 200 lb heavier than PI springs in front. A 900lb race spring is 29% stiffer than a PI front spring. You should use a 29% heavier rear spring, ~210 lb.

But then you need matched shocks or you won't be able to control the body motions properly. I was thinking about race springs but I don't want to buy really expensive shocks. I think I'll stick with PI springs and shocks. Unless some circle track shocks will fit, work well on the street and not cost a fortune. I'll look into that...

Kevin check this link. Carrera makes street stock shocks that bolt up to a box-body, they even have it listed as an application. Linky

Kevin, with all of my cars, even with the HD Moogs front and back, the front still was undersprung. And with HD shocks it bounced way too much. The chunks of steel missing from the crossmember of he 87 proved that well... With my wagon it's even worse. The rear is so stiff it doesn't move and the front just bounces. The shocks are all new motorcraft replacements. Check out the pics of my autocross and the vid...

Circle track shocks fit fine, a few people have used them. Once i get some more money together I'm getign the 1000lb springs and the SS shocks. I know with the wagon, that the rears should be fine for now. I'll have to see how balanced it is. I'm also looking in to making the rear bar mount differently and have adjustment.
