When did Ford changed trans to engine bolts size? (what year?) I remember reading somewhere that earlier aod used skinnier bolts while later used thicker and longer ones?

The thread holes in the block are the same for all years 302/351W. I will try to look up the bolts from 1980-1990 and see if there was any change in length.
