On Rockauto there are different size u-joints available for my car. On some the O.D. yoke size is 3 1/2" while for others it is 3 7/8". Which size will work on my car? If it's important, my car does not have the towing package.

most take the smaller one.....police & towing take the bigger one....however,it isn't unheard of that a "standard" car may have the larger one ........... -

the u-joints are located at each end of the drive shaft (the cross looking parts). You're measuring the bearing cap side (mounting hole in the drive shaft) and distance from cap to cap (outside).
