FRONT Control Arm bushings (upper and lower) checkup

I still haven't done a front end alignment. I am assuming you don't need a 4 wheel alignment, right.

    I have replaced:

    Wheel Bearings
    Stabilizer links
    Outer tie rods ends

    What I have not replaced:
Inner Tie rods (seems to be in good shape)
Pittman arm (seems to be in good shape)
Idler arm (seems to be in good shape, they're not greasable)
Ball Joints (seems to be in good shape, but the shop that does the alignment can verify this when its on the lift)
Control Arm bushings (HOW DO I see if they are still good or not?)
    Shocks
    Springs

    Am I missing anything else?

Before I get this alignment done, what shoul dI really get done that I haven't already done??

I want to get this right the first time

Depends if everything is in good shape or not. Did you do bounce test for shocks?

Odds are they bushings are due for replacement. I mean looks how old these vehicles are. All of mine were replaced back around the late 90's and needed replacing again already.

yes I did the bounce test. I believe they are a bit loose (1+ bounce back)

is there a way to tell if the bushings are bad without taking the whole dang control arm off?

And I couldn't find any poly bushings on rockauto, do they carry them. I only saw rubber

            I know, I know.

I figure that since I will be doing the bushings, I might as well do:

            Ball Joints,
            Motor mounts,
            Shocks

            Am i missing anything else?

And where can you get good, cheap (lol, I know) poly bushings. People here don't like rubber

I didn't like the included spring bushings, I thought they added too much height on the front. Ymmv. Use the crap out of the supplied grease, and if they don't give you enough I've heard tell use marine (waterproof) grease). They might squeak. Change the sway bar bushings too.

Heck just rebuild the entire car

just look at the bushings, if they are squashed, replace.
