    Tires

What would be the closest size to a 205-75-15 tire?
    215-75-15, or a 215-70-15?
    Thanks for the education

215-70-15 will be closer. middle number is aspect ratio, so the height of the sidewall is that percentage of the width.

    .75*205 = 153.75 mm wall height

    .70*215 = 150.5 mm wall height
    .75*215 = 161.25 mm wall height

Yes, but 225/70/15 was a standard size for police, ect.... A bit wider and just a touch taller. Good choice if your replacing tires but staying with the stock rims.

the first number indicates the tread width in millimeters. Your's are 205mm, 225/70R15's would be 225mm across with a 70 aspect ratio and 15" rim size

                X2 on getting the 225's
