Was browsing and noticed that most seem to go after B&M coolers. Anyone recommend anything specific? Anyone have a part number? Looking to add one in the near future.

Stack plates are more efficient than whatever the other type are called size for size. The other type are usually a bit cheaper though. If you're going to install one, might as well get a quality unit and be done with it.86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).

#2, #3 maybe thicker but it does not have as much area as two, the thickness really does not help since that extra 1/2" is being cooled by the air thats already been heated up by the front .75"
Better yet, buy two of #2 and run them both
as long as i dont hold it against the converter for extended periods of time, my tranny almost never sees 200degrees anymore.Last edited by DuceAnAHalf; 03-03-2007, 09:59 PM.http://secondhandracing.com/Home.aspx

I am running B&M's 70264 model cooler
It is a good piece, and a nice size both from a cooling stand point, and installation.
I would not advise running multiple coolers in series, this will reduce ATF flow rate which is also bad for your tranny. Running a cooler inline with a factory in-radiator ATF heat echanger is fine, though.-My Homepage, Panther info & FAQs-
