i gave up putting it back into gear after grinding it the first time cuz i friggen hate that noise. but i definetly never use the clutch when going from cruisin' to coastin'

I've never tried to shift without the clutch on my truck, I just imagine grinding when I try it though lol. I don't use the clutch going from gear to neutral. I'll have to practice shifting without the clutch sometime, my dad does it without thinkin about it since he's driven for almost 50 years.
