When ignition is off wiper interval, box makes noise when wiper switch is off and won’t shut off wiper motor with power on or off

I would have to check some schematics but I suspect the switch is supposed to be depowerd when ignition is off. Though it may just switch ground. The diagrams should give some good ideas. My splice work I put new one plug wiper motor and my bad soldering had little poke through heat shrink into other wire
