When you do do the valve covers, I hope you're using felpro gaskets and not that cork crap. It will eventually leak with the cork.

Well, all I could get at the time I bought them were the cork ones (I buy a lot of stuff when I am at it, let it rest for a while, and then use it).
Maybe I am lucky for not having reached the valve cover yet (and even more for the oil pan gasket).
Itīs not too late for real gaskets (ie Felpro ones).
Not so easy to be a DIY mechanic...Comment

I pulled a heater plenum out of the salvage yard in practice for replacing my heater plenum in a couple months. The A/C doors are messed up and probably broken at the hinge on mine. I'll also get a new heater core to reduce the chance that I will have to pull mine out again later if the heater core blows.Comment
