    rearview mirror

The rearview mirror on my 1990 GM is cracked. Is it possible to buy a replacement mirror glass, or is there the other option of a new mirror assembly? Anyone know part numbers?

    Thanks-

I'm assuming you mean the one on the windshield...

if you mean the driver or passenger side... yes, you can get just the glass... if you need the driver side glass... I have one I can send you.

when you say rear view, which of the 3 do you mean? I call the one inside the car on the windshield the rear view. If its the center one, replace the whole thing. The side ones you can theoretically replace the glass on, but I haven't a clue where you'd get the glass. It was a Ford thing, but its quite possibly NLA now.

autozone has a wide selection of mirror glass actually. I was surprised. Assemblies only for windshield though.

Just go to the junk yard and get yourself an autodim with compass and all that. I got mine for 5 bucks. You can get a regular replacement too
