    I was just looking at a Canadian '79 LTD brochure on ebay, you guy's got the box Custom 500 too!! Now that is a car I have got to find.

          So do a Meteor or Custom 500 look any different from the average box? I didnt even know they existed.

            the meteor and 500 are the base panthers that have no options, jus an AM radio, bench seat and manual door locks and windows, no vinyl roof, and were only offered as a 4-door. would make the ultimate sleeper with a hopped up 351W

              I found one small pic of an '81 Meteor, it basically looks like a very basic GM with no vinyl roof from what I could see. There's just about nothing on them on the net.
