81-89 Turn signal switch stalk removal

Any tips on best way to remove the stalk from the turn signal switch without scarring the chrome? Thanks, WagonMan

Firm grip and a quick yank.

Some grippy gloves and do the same.

I have a project coming up involving removing all of the remaining stalks on my car... And the research ive done and from past experience doing it myself on my car and junkyard cars.... the turn stalk just pulls out.

"Firm grip and a quick yank". Should be no problem, I do that everyday! LOL! WagonMan
