forget all that shit .... think outside the BOX... Cummings Turbo Deisel...

hell ya its possible.. A student school was able to put a rotory motor with a rear wheel drive train in a crx civic i think a Cummings Turbo Deisel into a box would be cake compaired to that. Boxes allready have a tranny tunnel and a solid full frame, civic didn't.

Do it if you want but it aint that simple. Main problem would be body mounts. Might have a homemade 5 inch body lift when your finished tom.

            FUCK the lift.

If anything, I am going to channel the body onto the frame...

Sounds sweet Tom! My dads LSE will most def. out handle my vic. The only thing I don't like about the 03+ Suspention is the wheels have no dish to them.

I was thinking Powerstroke diesel but we're on the same page here. The Cummins motor is a hell of a powerplant. Maybe better tho would be something like the turbo or twin-turbo diesel V8 engines that euro luxury cars get. A BMW or Mercedes TT V8 would kick ass with all the torque they produce. Good on fuel too.

Chopping up 2 frames into 3 sections and putting them back together right would be a major PITA. Besides that you'd need a frame table and a TON of measuring.

Its not much harder than channeling the car to fit a different frame and building new mounts.

V10 is an easy swap....It's been done quite a few times. I'd love to swap a newer frame under an old box. Use a cobra motor or a lightning motor Should be pretty badass. The watts link and a R&P steering would be incredible.
