    rust never sleeps...

    The rust near the left corner of the rear window has gotten worse over the past 2 years. I've decided to have it fixed this Summer/early Fall. When it rains, water will seep through into the trunk. I checked tonight and the carpet was damp. Best to have this issue fixed sooner than later!

      Will be fixed next weekend! I'm supplying the paint but a professional will be doing the work. In the meantime, I'm gonna remove the trunk carpet.

        I had the same problem with the Malibu. Very discouraging. Once that's done, you will probably find other areas to patch, then that will escalate to a full body straightening session and a 10k+ paintjob. LOL

              anyone on here (besides speed shop owners) even have a 10K+ limit? I know I don't... not even CLOSE. and I pay my card off at least twice a month. Finance charges? screw that!

                            Body: Fix quarter panel and deck lid rust. Repaint deck lid and hood.
