lightning engines are impossible to find.......just build your own......the lightning cam was a flat tappet cam and it sucked anyway
heres the basic recipie
94-97 351w roller shortblock
gt40 heads (93-95 lightning, 93-95 mustang cobra. 96 and early 97 explorer 5.0)
351 cobra intake
24 lb injectors
maf and maf ecm for 24 lb injectors
bbk 351 swap headers
1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Stock for now

Here is a pic, I chiped the paint off when I blew it dry but since I'm going to powder coat it to match the intake upper & lower so no big deal..........
I figured this would be a hard part to find.

The intake I bought is for a 302. My plan is to get a 347 CID stroker 302 motor to go with the intake. That way I don't have to cut a hole in hood to use FI on a 351.:hacksaw:
I need to figure out what color I'm going to coat the intake. Any suggestions?
I was thinking about Reflective Chrome, the inside of this timing cover is Reflective Chrome ............
I still need lots of parts................
