    Thanks mang.

    Update!

New floor mats purchased and installed. Discussion found here: http://www.grandmarq.net/vb/showthre...ood-floor-mats

Here is the little screw thingie that goes into the carpet to ensure that your floor mat is firmly secured:

    Drivers side floor mat:

Does not come into contact with the pedal, or even interfere for that matter:

    Rear:

    Passengers side:

    Ford script:

    Fits well:

I like it better than the blue flames I had going on.

These were purchased from ebay. 38 shipped! I think I scored as this is ford oem factory accessory floor mats. Seller was yourkeylessremote. Prices have increased 10 bucks now. lol

I also took the car out to Montauk Point. Took a few pics along the way:

Nice. I've seen a few sets on there where the Ford emblem was an embroiled outline of the logo. Looked pretty nice. Black looks decent too.

Keeps the black and tan theme going in the car. I am happy I didn't go ahead and drop a few hundo on some custom mats as these are fine for me. I am very particular about how they fit especially with how they may interfere with the go pedal. These are just good enough for me at a fraction of the cost.

The mats look good! I added them to my watch list on eBay for future reference.

I wish I kept my OEM mats from my '91 GM... my '89 doesn't have any mats in it right now.

No mats....your floor is naked! It just feels dirty to me having no floor mats in a vehicle.

unless the floor is rubber... you need mats. and even then, I would probably have rubber mats.

Yep... it's just carpet in there now. I should really pick up some floor mats.

What color is your interior again. If tan and you are interested I will give your the blue flames tan floor mats I was rocking for about 6 years. They are as new as they can come as I always ran clear covers on top of them so as to not get them dirty. lol

I understand his point. Car shows can be a pain in the ass. THey are often very cliquey and can be not a lot of fun if you end up at the wrong one, or have the wrong car, or whatever. I'd rather spend my time driving the car than polishing the hubcaps and arguing with people about the best kind of wax to use.

I couldn't find the appropriate emoticon; unless we have a sarcastic version of the "nonono". Plus, what's wrong with spending tens of thousands on a car for a small plastic trophy, Gadget?
