so, some mice used to live on the lower intake by the injectors..strangely all of the wiring was fine. i guess the previous owner must've replaced whatever the mice ate through but didn't bother cleaning the mess they left.

It's sure easier to break the ass of the car loose around a corner now..still needs more power though..

I also, most unfortunately, need new valve covers. Some rust bubbles starting and a few of them are starting to crack...they've got a while left until they rot through but replacing them will look nicer.

I remember reading about engine-build plans. Does the appearance of this engine even matter when you're getting ready to replace it with something two to ten times as good anyway? If it were me, I'd save my money.

buying 4 doors worth of weather stripping for 100 bucks...not a bad deal imo. i can't wait to have my doors not leak..i'll have to learn how to line the doors up properly since they're a bit off from squishing the old weather stripping.

new u joints are on. checked out my brakes while i was at it and i need new rotors...a year isn't bad out of the ones that were on there when i bought it.

just bought an EVTM and a Haynes manual for my car. woohoo!

used. got 'em from an old school bus driver..he had a fox body over in the corner of his garage buried under a pile of tools/other garage stuff. only paid 50 bucks for the whole set, and they're in great shape.


all he has now are dodge rams, the schoolbus, and the mustang. these 15s won't fit on anything he's got

The ride and handling seem better with the taller tires, even if they're not much taller. Seems to respond better when you're already cruising too. Probably in my head.

I didn't think the ride would be this much better with bigger tires. Nice and soft like these cars should be but not so bad there's no more body roll than there was previously. Need new tie rod ends so I'm not exactly taking turns at speed lately.
