    1986 crown vic - photos

    well this is my car. it's a 1986 crown vic.
    i picked it up in december of 08 with 147,xxx kms on it.
    i'm the third owner of the car, and it now has 163,xxx kms on it.

    since i have owned it i have done a number of repairs / upgrades

    -both u-joints > winter 08

    -wheels and tires > spring 09

    -timing chain / gears
    timing cover
    water pump
    thermostat > spring 09

    - voltage regulator
    new battery
    spark plugs
    spark plug wires
    cap and rotor
    new block heater
    new master cylinder
    new single exhaust minus the cats > summer 09

    - new windsheild
    changed broken marker light > summer 10

    the upgrades that i have done include:
    - changed the front and back bumpers
    - uncracked dash
    - blacked out grill
    - older style tail light
    - cd player with 4 new speakers
    - all blue led dash
    - 2" tack in clock space
    - skinny rear sway bar

      by the way thats my bike, i made it.
      and i did all the upgrades and work to the car by myself.
      stock engine, and some pics of the sway bar.

            i work on a 85 vic with the same paint scheme

            1986 lincoln towncar signature series. 5.0 HO with thumper performance ported e7 heads, 1.7 roller rockers, warm air intake, 65mm throttle body, 1/2" intake spacer, ported intakes, 3.73 rear with trac lock, 98-02 front brake conversion, 92-97 rear disc conversion, 1" rear swaybar, 1 3/16" front swaybar, 16" wheels and tires, loud ass stereo system, badass cb, best time to date 15.94 at 87 mph. lots of mods in the works 221.8 rwhp 278 rwt
            2006 Lincoln Town Car Signature. Stock for now
            1989 Ford F-250 4x4 much much more to come, sefi converted so far.
            1986 Toyota pickup with LSC wheels and 225/60/16 tires.
            2008 Hyundai Elantra future Revcon toad
            1987 TriBurner and 1986 Alaska stokers keeping me warm. (and some pesky oil heat)

            please be patient, rebuilding an empire!

                  Thats a beauty. Looks to be in great shape...where did you get those tail lights?? I have been looking for them for mine for the past year or so.

                            nice grill blackout.....

                            I really like how ur grill is blacked out that makes me want to do that to my 86. but really nice car i like the paint job as well, very uniquely 80s ford.
