It was raining steady all evening and the wipers decided to stop working...I managed to get home despite the poor visibility. Might be some electrical gremlin because the dash was making a low-pitched buzzing sound at times. Fingers crossed for sunshine tomorrow!'79 Continental Town Car

What would you say is the best way to remove the headliner? I've heard that you remove one of the seats up front and fold/roll up the headliner board a bit.

Iv only dealt with a headliner once. I removed it, with the windshield out. On a coupe, you can get it out but, not sure about a four door.

You can remove the passenger front seat to give you more room to work. I have done it without doing that. Just lay the seatback down. On the TC the headliner is not a thin cardbord, it is much thicker, less bendable. So it helps to have more room to work with. With a sunroof it is more of a PITA. Just take your time, don't force anything. I am sure this process has been posted recently.

I got my car back yesterday.
-rad was pressure tested & passed.
-new water pump installed.
-oil change.
-timing adjusted.
-vacuum lines check.
-wiper switch check.
Mechanic's notes:
Vacuum lines visually look ok. If problem persists or customer concerns rise, recommend smoke test. Cannot find issues with wipers.'79 Continental Town Car
