That was 2004
I am content with the exhaust on the car, I am doing stock stang shorties and the off road H pipe when I stab the tremec in there, it's part of my parts list. I'll prob just hang my polished mufflers on there with dumps for now. It'll sound nice!1983 Grand Marquis 2Dr Sedan "Mercules"

Here's more info on that exhaust and the car they put it on: http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/engine/...-chevy-laguna/
Turned out to be too loud for them, here's an update: http://www.hotrod.com/how-to/engine/...vrolet-laguna/
And to get back on subject, I'm gonna run a similar setup (to what you said, Tom) on my Lincoln. Once I get the transmission rebuild, gonna do the HO upper swap when I find one for cheap, and hopefully find HO shorties cheap at the same time. Since my stock duals don't have many miles on them, I'm gonna have a shop fab up catless downpipes so I can keep it all. Then, I'll probably run straight pipes for a bit, see how I like it. I bet with tails, small pipe and weak engine, it won't be that loud but who knows.
I had a pair of those Summit stainless mufflers on my old C10, thought I'd give them a shot since my Flowtech Redhots were pretty loud. I don't know what it was, but some bad combo made them drone as bad as anything I've ever heard, it was like some 12" subs constantly hitting, I couldn't take it. I put the Redhots back on, because they didn't have drone to them. Those mufflers let me know they didn't like my truck.Last edited by 88Vic; 05-29-2015, 12:55 AM.88 Town Car (wrecked, for sale)

Ok, no more exhaust talk in my thread for now.
I scored a used (good shape) Zoom stage 2 26 spline 10.5" clutch for a good deal. The parts are adding up, it will only be another $850 or so before I have everything I need to do the swap after ScottFest!1983 Grand Marquis 2Dr Sedan "Mercules"
