I remember watching some of these burnout videos and trying with the variable Venturi '82. Was met with continuous bogs and no tire spin. Was quite excited to learn SEFI cars do it much better! Still not quite like your 408 though.

Fast forward a bit over 11 years from where I left off, and this is where she sits now. In her own garage after way too many years outside. Had to push her in here with my truck, but she's finally in her retirement home. I'll go back and fill in the rest of this timeline 2007+ eventually. Lots of stroker build photos to post

Pictures is the 408w as it sits in her engine bay. I popped off the 14x3 K&N w/ Tom's x-tream lid donation. Tonight I popped a few plugs out out and inspected the cylinders with one of those cheap USB bore scopes from Amazon. Just wanted to make sure things looked good before I started turning it over. Didn't see anything of note; crosshatching looked great.

So I'm gonna take the carb off, tear it down and clean the old gas tarnish off best I can. Make sure the floats are in working order. Change the fluids, get the oil press vague in working order, prime it and see If she'll breathe fire one final time. Gotta make my presence known in the neighborhood anyways. There's some folks caddy-corner to my backyard that do some hot rod wrenching on Chevy stuff that need something to chase down anyways
