    I always liked those Cougars. The XR7s were sweet. No engine pics of your car? What's under the hood, a 3.8L or 5.0L? Which one of your cars is quicker?

      This Cougar is an LS with an EFI 302. Can't really tell which one is quicker. They're both pretty slow. I'd have to say that the '88 GM feels a bit quicker, but I don't have any numbers to back that up.

        Couger should be a little faster, all things being equal but you have better gears in the box which makes up for it.


        BTW, if you're interested, I found a way to mod those Coogie speedos to read that in MPH. http://www.coolcats.net/tech/advanced/199speedo.html
