    piping on armrest cracked

    a piece of the piping going around the drivers seat armrest in m car cracked, and it's actually kind of sharp and sticks me in the arm. any ideas?

      Find an armrest in a JY, for now tape your pipe so it doesn't stick you or just take the rest out.

        Same thing with my '90 Bluesmobile. Just took it to an auto interior place and they sewed new bindings on it for $40. Or, just find a good one in a wrecking yard, the covers just zip off the foam.

          Try the junkyard idea first. You could even grab some armrests from a box GM

            Are any panther armrests different than these? other than in the material the covering is made with. I'll take anything I can find that's in a color that would go with my interior, the covering that's on them now is not in amazing shape to begin with.

              If they're leather, you could look for some of the presidential (I think that was the trim level) aero towncars, they had cup holders in the arm rests.
