    Anti-Theft trunk plates

    Hey folks,
There was a video posted on Youtube showing how easy it is to punch out a Panther's right rear back-up light to access the emergency trunk release handle. You can break into the trunk in less than 8 seconds!
The video was made by a Police Department because several of their Panthers had their trunks broken into for the gear and guns.
JEEZ!!!....Now everyone knows how to quickly access the trunk of a Panther!

A company has developed a set of block off plates to preclude this from happening and there is a group buy being offered on MM.net.

    Here are the two links:

Since our cars are often mistaken for police vehicles, we may eventually be similarly victimized. Group buy information: Ordered TODAY - 16 September 2009 - 1:07 PM EDT. I've been advised to expect

"Group Buy on trunk protection plates"

The original group buy of trunk plates has been distributed, and a number of people indicated that they'd like a second chance at ordering. So, gullible as I am, here we go again. THE RULES: YOU send to my PayPal address ("n4ogl@comcast.net") the amount of $24.66 (calculated below) and wait. If you can't figure out how to spell my address, read the other thread starting on page 2. If I get more than 30 (thirty) prepaid orders by October 23, I can get the same price as before and
