    Only problem Ive had is the glass gettign scratched from the lack of felt. Also, the gate was essentially siezed from lack of use.

        Kewl. Mine on the '87 did for about two years after I got it, then the window regulator broke and I never figured out how to fix it.

          the one on my '84 CP would flop down any time it felt like it, the one on my '88 CS worked perfectly unless there was a hint of moisture in the air when the temp dropped below 32* (I broke 2 handles), and the one on my '89 just plain wouldn't close. Ever. It was a parts car though, so it was okay.

            Guess I've had it good, then, in a way - only broke one handle, during the winter of '04. Took me a devilishly long time to find a replacement, though.
