got tires/wheels for the Hillbilly SUV project

I haven't gotten them mounted yet, but you can see in the pics it will be a big difference.

    A few minor updates.
I replaced the plastic grommet for the tv cable and I now have 2nd, and 3rd gears. Overdrive has yet to be tested, but for now it will make it around town so I can borrow a friends lift to work on it.
On a side note, if the tranny does, crap out on me, (as I halfway expect it will) I am considering putting my t/5 in this thing. With the stock engine, and lower gears I won't have to be as careful with it. I will probably just put a shift kit in my C6 and put it in the other wagon once I finally get underway with it.

I swapped the bad wiper motor with one I saved off of my 91. Then it got a much needed tune up, with new plugs, cap, rotor, etc. It should now pass the local sherrif's inspection for out of state cars.

    Now for the pics...

    Stock pic for reference.

Overall the car will only raise up about 3 ro 4 inches, but it should give me the extra ground clearance I am looking for.

I always liked those spare wheels...

How you plan on runnin' truck wheels? IIRC, those only fit '97+

I am going to have to either drill them to 5X4.5" lug spacing, or else I am going to try to find some adapters. In any case I need spacers, due to these having 3/4" less backspacing, than a stock vic wheel. In the end it will probably be better to get 1" + spacers and turn them down if needed.

Time to bust out the BFH to mount the tires. Those should lift it up some.

They should raise it up 2.5" but I will be working on the springs as well so it will probably gain another inch or trhee from that as well.
I would like to see 4-6 inches overall. that will make it much nicer to work on, if I have to swap out that tranny.
