Go to a body shop supply house... ask them for the attachment for a drill to take stickers off.... it is a round rubber thing with an arbor to go in your drill.... it acts just like a big eraser.... and doesn't harm the paint underneath.... unless you get carried away and burn the paint with the rubber thing.... this item was designed for just what you are doing.... getting wood grain off of the side of a car.... (works great removing police decals off of old police cars too.... ) Tom...
