    The kit for the 77-96 caprices is the same as for the 79-91 vics. Some of the other kits may be as well.
    The rears went in easily. The front ones are a bit tricky though. If anyone goes to install a set let me know and I will tell you a much easier way to put them in, which doesnt involve a ball joint seperator, or removing the spring.

      I tried some of the twist in jobs and they rubbed the shock up front. I also bought a couple of those big rubber jobs, but they didn't work out either.
      These worked like a charm... whatever it is that a charm works like.

        LOL! speaking of purpose... I took a couple of people for a ride and drove it up a hill so steep that my back bumper, as high as it sits, was only about an inch off the ground. I then proceeded to drive the passenger side up onto a steep bank, where that side of the car was about two or three feet higher than the drivers side. Lets see someone try THAT with their honda. LOL!
