Here's my 01 Town Car "Leroy"
not too much progress so far, but its a work in progress. Ill start with his history.
My dad bought him used with 40k miles on him from the used lot at Purvis Ford (local Ford dealership that I will be working at starting in January) in 2006. at the time, he used Leroy to commute back and forth to Alexandria (50 miles north) everyday, so he got some miles on him. my dad then bought a brand new Expedition from Purvis and Leroy was given to my mom to drive around town in. my dad then traded his Expedition in for a 2010 Camry (blasphemy in my opinion) last spring to save on gas and insurance since I had just gotten my learner's permit. After I got my license, and was driving to school every day my senior year, my dad decided to buy himeslf a Toyota Avalon from a family friend and sold Leroy to me for $1k (best investment I've made so far). Since then, Leroy has been my daily driver and I haven't had too many problems, other than the IAC went bad which I replaced myself, and the trans slipps every once in a while. He's seen his fare share of burnouts and donuts (the best I could do since the rear end has an open carrier) and even some mud (which I couldn't avoid) in a field at a ZZ Top concert.
