    Thumbs up ScottFest 2015

    It is time.

This year, the annual GMN meet in Tremont, PA is going to be fun.

It's tentatively scheduled for the second weekend in August.

    AUGUST 7-11

That's a Friday through Monday deal, if you wish.

This year we hope to have drag racing Friday evening. Actually, I think I'll find a way to make it happen.

We will be doing the dyno day again on Saturday morning because it was fun as hell. And I think we'll bring some drinks and hot dogs to grill up too. I know I had a blast there last year.

Another cruise or junkyard run can be on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe Centrailia, or somewhere new.
I'm a fan of that ice cream shop on the way to Centrailia.

Then, whatever we feel like on Sunday.

And of course, tons of BS-ing and good food.

    More to follow.

I'm going to try to make it this year... looking like either the 93 or 88 will be fine for the trip, but I can only bring one. Still not sure which though. Will know more the closer we get.

That Ice Cream was very good. I will hopefully have my hooptie done, doubt Nick will bring the Towncar this year.

    John vs Ryan's TC again.

Let's hope it'll be different this time.

As far as I know I'll be there again this year! Most likely with the LTD...but there is a slight chance I may bring my new ride...the Maverick, since we are going to the dyno again.
More junkyard runs this year would be nice, as would the drag-strip! I'm down for everything Ryan said

Not sure if I'll have the black Lincoln or the other black Lincoln. Putting the Mark VII on the dyno might be fun just to see what a quarter million mile survivor will do. I am vaguely curious if it burns any oil at full load. I can't exactly see behind it while driving to see what kind of chooch it has going for it.

Ya. I'm getting there as fast as I can.
During my lunch breaks, I make the 7 minute drive over to my old apartment. I'm still renting out the garage there (because that's where all my tools and stuff are).
I do as much as I can in 45 minutes, then head back to work to finish up the day.

I want to have it done by April 17th. It's the Green Grand Prix at Watkins Glenn. It's a SCCA sanctioned fuel efficiency "race" or challenge.
    Info, here: http://www.greengrandprix.com/

And if I get this new position at work, the Marauder will most likely be done in time as well.

I plan on being there this year. My '89 should be more than ready for the trip. Definitely would like to take part in the cruise, dyno day, and junkyard run(s). May not be able to stay for the full time because the Wayne County Fair will be going on toward the tail end. Don't want to miss any of the fun times there..... I'll know if I can stay for the entire 5 days by the beginning of July.

If you're coming all the way from Texas there really isn't an excuse for me not to able to make it from Michigan! Plus I just asked Scott about doing the HO swap and the price is very reasonable.. Ash and I could journey down there in our TC's and then leave one for the swap & pick it up some time later?
