      Welcome to the forum.

Id love to see some pics of the interior of that 84 especially the polices gauges as you dont see those very often.

Curious about the HO 302 comment and rear with disc brakes. Certainly an optioned car.

Also, please use punctuation. If you don't wanna capitalize, that's fine, but need the stop points to help with readability. Thanks.

Looking forward to seeing pictures. Also interested in the H.O. and rear disc brakes (unless I misunderstood).

Preach it, brotha! Such a word salad I felt compelled to fix it:

I'm also a Panther platform enthusiast and currently own a mint, low mileage 1984 Mercury Grand Marquis, two door that my dad bought brand new. He special ordered it through my uncle, who worked for Ford over thirty years and was the plant manager for the St. Louis plant at the time. Dad ordered it with forty options, including a 3.55 Trak-Lok axle with disc brakes, turbine wheels (including the spare), 302 H.O. and police gauges. The only thing I added was a 2,000 watt Alpine stereo, which I had professionally installed. Don't worry, I saved the factory cassette radio, which still works. The car is code 1C black with Canyon Red interior. Speaking of the interior, you should see it. It's embroidered just like the Lincolns were, I believe it's one of one. I have all the original paperwork, including the window sticker. Oh, I got a Marti report for it too. I've owned the car for thirty-five years now, always garaged and never driven in the winter or as a daily driver. It turns heads everywhere it goes, especially at car shows. They didn't build many two doors, only 13,347 for the 1984 model year and less in others. Unfortunately, 1987 was the last year for the two door..
