And those quarter panel windows are easy to wipe clean w/ solvent! One question: how long is your trans oil dipstick? Some previous owner has made own markings to dipstick and w/ those markings, the oil level is ok - but comparing to factory markings, the oil level is way too high. The AOD does not slip...

So Iīm assuming that the dipstick isnīt actually original. Car is ī83 LTD w/ 302+CFI+AOD.

And another stupid question: How long is your engine oil dipstick? I changed the engine oil + filter today and managed to drain only 1.5-2 pints of oil w/ filter change? WTF?

Oil was warm but I forgot to open the oil filler plug before opening the drain plug. Well, opened the filler plug (on top of the left valve cover) and also removed the filter but nope...less than 2 pints...

Somehow I fear that if the tranny dipstick has been "borrowed" from another type of FoMoCo-car, the engine oil dipstick may be as well "borrowed".

        Thx for reading!

Letīs forget this! It has 2 drain plugs It didnīt even crossed my mind because the car was standing on its wheels.

And what comes to tranny, previous owner has overfilled it maybe īcos it has a minor leak...

yea two drain plugs......it's cause they had to use a dual sump oil pan
oil capacity is 5 quarts, most of the dipsticks are off
trans capacity is 12 quarts (that's with a completely drained dry trans........draining the pan and the torque converter you will usually need 10-11 quarts)
