    Newb here....Sort of

    Hello all,
I've owned a couple panthers in the past, and I haven't been on here since I sold my last one. Anyway I'm back in the game. I just bought a 94 MGM yesterday. Its got 125k miles, digital dash, green ext with blue leather interior. The car needs a few things, as any 19 year old car would. But overall I am very happy with it.
I will be posting around here more often as I run into issues, but is there anything in particular I should keep an eye on or expect from the car?

Welcome back! I can't think of any major issues for that year offhand. Just the basic tune-up stuff for any new-to-you old car like fuel filter, oil change, inspecting the steering system, etc.

I plan on doing the usual stuff this weekend. One thing I did notice today is that, unfortunately, the car does smoke a little when taking off from a stop. Valve guides i'm assuming?

Check for clogged EGR. That may trigger the check engine light.
