    Thanks vision;
    I'm only a few hours away from sealin' an' dealin' on a 2006 MGM LS with 42K miles on it. The car had one owner; the carfax is excellent (not that I need that but it's reassuring); the condition of the car is
    super clean and all required servicing and inspections etc have been done. An 8 year old car is still an 8 year old car however and I'm gonna flush/replace the coolant ... 5yrs or 100,000 miles if I find it hasn't been done prior to sale - it'll make me feel better.
    8 years and the tranny fluid hasn't been changed ... is that o.k?
    So far I'm happy with the car - an LS and not a GS like I wanted - it really is immaculate and has been garaged since it was bought; ICE BLUE with privacy glass and the updated grill and grey (not red) center rear lights. A veritable grampa car!!! Fills all my criteria: reasonable price (though a little above my original budget); excellent condition; well documented history from 1 owner and 1 professional garage;;
    everything works; simple and clean lines on the exterior with the 2006 change in the front grill; minimal chrome; no undiscovered bodies in the trunk either - What's not to like? I did a ton of reading, asking, lookin' an' bookin' and this car had my name on it ... basically what the guys on here said; "keep lookin' and just settle" and I did. When I get an opportunity, I'll post a photo.
    Immediately after completing the car deal ... I'm off on a 7 hour road trip!
    To all the guys that encouraged me to stay with it; thanks and thanks again ...

        Yeah! I'm happy with it ... though I won't be driving it 'til the beginning of April. I'm already contemplating messing with the front/rear chrome molding inserts and replacing them with a graphite colored option. Where I'll find that is another project altogether! Maybe do the same with the door moldings too. Minimal stuff really, but fun. Is this addictive or what????
