frontwheels don't spin as free as they should

    Hi All,

Both my brake caliper pistons don't go back enough.
So my frontwheels don't spin as free as they should.

What could be the reason for this problem?

    Thanks,

    Greetings,

    Arie

How much fluid do you have in your resvoir?

Remove some, and see how it does then...

they caliper slides are possibly sticking, then the caliper wont release completely, or the piston is stuck. The slide bolts are usually easily removed , you use extra fine grit to smooth them, clean out the hole they go in, apply a thin coat of hi temp grease to the slide bolts and put them in. I have seen some bearing hubs spin free-er than others. if you unbolt the brake caliper and remove it from the rotor, you can tell if it is the hub bearing or not. keep in mind some drag will happen, the front wheel wont spin forever by hand, but you should not have to force it to rotate.
