maybe...theres more options to xcal when you hook it up to other programs. IIRC racer pro was one the programs where you could touch alot of stuff like trac contol always off on startup and cooling fan turn on temp. Maybe someone in his area with knoledge with the Xcal could help him, or at least diagnose what it is. I'm dying to get a labtop so I can at least datalog.

Did you buy the voltmeter?
I have one, they're cheap and allow you to diagnose almost any sensor on my car. A small investment that pays off big, IMHO.My car is a Shelby SVT Cobra GT Boss Grand Marquis Type R
