If I were to make my engine a 347 stroker wat heads would be the best

I doubt you could afford doing a EFI stroker. Stick with carb. EFI is expensive to acquire and to tune. Trust me, I know.

yeah, more info needed. We could ring off a list of a dozen heads that will bolt to a 302 but that won't do any good withought knowing what the rest of the setup is

Ported E7s, GT40s or 351W 1969 or 70 will do the job. You dont want real hi RPM stuff. The stroker 347 wont surive long over 6000 RPM. I will be pulling 430 HP at the rear wheels with my 302 at 6000 RPM. I could pull more but the intake limits the air flow. My heads are not even fully ported. For a manifold a ported Vr Jr would be your best bet.

Is the $6-800 the total engine budget? Or is that just for the heads?

$800 for heads, you are pretty much gonna be limited to iron heads. maybe the World Windsor sr. or the World Roush 200's?

They need to be rebuilt, but they're all there. They were supposedly redone in the 80s and have been sitting since. I won't guarantee thats the case, but if they have been run they have low hours on them. They have surface rust and need to be disassembled and cleaned up before they can be put back in service. Complete with the stock rocker arms and such too. I paid $200 for them and I'd like to get that back out of them. They come with new valve seals in the box too.
