Anyone rebuild an Edelbrock 600 before?

How much trouble is it? I've heard it's pretty easy; I'm just curious. What rebuild kit can I use? Most of the kits I see are for multiple carbs.
2011 Mustang GT Premium, MT82, Kona/Saddle, HIDs, 3.73s, 19s, hood/side stripes, UPR 1.5" springs with adjustable panhard bar, and UMI solid LCAs and relocation brackets.
1992 Explorer Eddie Bauer, slight lift, 34s, and A/C...
1979 Bronco Custom, 351M/C6/NP205, 4" lift, 35s, lots of fender trimming.

i havent done a rebuild on one, but ive taken apart the top half to change jets a few times. Just dont drop the little metal clips that hold the linkages together or you'll never find em again

I've had my Weber carbs apart before, and they're the same thing inside. Not much to them really. I would suggest taking it apart in a pan of some sort. I used to use foil baking pans for stuff like that just so the little parts don't vanish.

Okay- so if it's a kit for Edelbrock/Carter carbs it's the same thing?
That's pretty much the info I'm looking for. It's hard to turn down an Edelbrock 600 for $50 even if it needs a rebuild.

Originally they were a Carter AFB, then it became a Weber something, then the Edelbrock. You can get Webers and all they are is a non-chrome Edelbrock. The edelbrock carbs have a W cast on the side.

Ain't worth a damn compared to what? EFI? No comparison off road.
But I'm getting an Edelbrock because for carburetion it's the best without spending $400 on a Truck Avenger.

What was your issue with Edelbrock carbs. I've never had any problems with them. If it's for off road use they sell a spring loaded needle and seat assembly.

Simple. They dont run hardly at all when bouncing around, and they dont like dirt and water. I had to change my airfilter every other trip to the woods so the truck would run. Just bad luck with them overall. Had more power and seemed like better economy with the holley. Seriously. Me and 2 buddies had a box of like 14 junk edelbrock and q-jets. After we went holley we had no more issues.
