    Radiator petcock problems

The wagon is puking coolant everywhere- it seems the drain petcock on the radiator is stripped out and just spinning in its hole. Is it possible to replace just the petcock on this stupid plastic radiator or should I be looking through the U-pull for a new radiator?

Get a new rad. If it's stripped, the rad is also too. It'll prolly leak with a new petcock..

Crap. We'll try the $4 new petcock trick first to see if that works.

The new petcock did the trick. The old one broke off in the threads, but the new one came with a new threaded insert. I had to remove the radiator to install it but it worked out. I also installed a new Y-pipe, muffler and tailpipe, so the legend of the loud-ass wagon is dead. But at least it holds coolant. that should keep me from having to work on it for at least another week.
