I'd go with the Victor Jr. if at all possible. Summit Racing says it's 5.750 in tall, so subtract from that your current intake and then take some modeling clay and put the difference on top of your air cleaner, shut the hood, and then read the clay so see if it'll fit.1990 Country Squire - under restoration

I believe the victor is about 3/4" taller than the air gap
With my rpm air gap and a half inch nitrous plate I had to run a small air cleaner and cut the bracing out of my hood.
With the 2" cowl I have an additional 1" air cleaner spacer with a full size moroso air cleanerhttp://secondhandracing.com/Home.aspx

I got my Victor Jr. on Corral.net for $140 from a guy about 5miles down the road from me...his screen name is mattponch, but his real name is Bill...he has a lot of stuff...
if you contact him, tell him Colin referred ya, he'll give ya even cheaper prices...
when I was asking about my Carb swap, the guy that ported my heads told me that the Victor Jr. was the best choice, but the Torker II was a close 2nd.
but, the Torker II could be made to perform almost as well is the Victor Jr. with some porting work.sigpic

My aircleaner assembly is 3.5" from bottom of the lower part to the highest point on the lid. That does not include the wing nut.
Thats with no spacer under the carb or under the air cleanerhttp://secondhandracing.com/Home.aspx

I dunno there isn't a lot of room under your hood. I don't think you can get away with anything much taller in there without hacking up the hood supports or installing a cowl or something. I also kind of doubt 50 hp difference from that intake to something else. Its not like you're going from one of those iron CFI manifolds to something else. I'm sure there are better intakes to be had, but 50+ hp from just an intake manifold when going from an aftermarket 4bbl to another aftermarket 4bbl seems awful optimistic86 Lincoln Town Car (Galactica).
