I have a good idea, but I just need verification. I fixed the hose that blew on the 88 today cause I have someone interested in buying it. Finished up the job, filled it back up with coolant, started it and proceeded to bleed the air out of the system. One thing I noticed while I was bleedin it was that the coolant was frothing out of the fill spout on the radiator. I'm pretty sure this is head gasket related, i just need to know for sure. If so i'm gonna have to do the heads on it before I sell it. Yay.

Most likely it is just the water pump wearing out. take a look at the weep hole on the bottom of it and see if it's wet at all. Usually a water pump will make that foamy, frothy miz in the radiator with no discoloration of the coolant."Owning a 9-second Import is like coming out of the closet.... At first it may be surprising, but in the end, you're still gay!"
