If its attached in some way, it won't die, but if the cable is just hanging there not attached to anything, its gonna asplode. The rubber/plastic one is the stock replacement. The brass is an upgrade part, though I don't really know why the brass one hasn't superseded the plastic part. probably they have, but there are a crapload of plastic ones still in existence to sell off first.

If that ever fails, then I've just ran outta luck for the next 7 years. It's an old pic tho, the Tv cable has since then been replaced with one off a 3.8 T-bird, which is even longer than the Mark VII one and therefore makes for a much smoother bend.Comment
