Fuel pump psi?
What should the pump psi be? I tested mine and got about 20 psi with the engine off and about 40 with the engine running. I also have 20 in of vacume at idle. I get a real bad miss when I push on the gas easy. It will jump and buck until I push harder or jump down a gear. If I just run it about 60 it will run fine with only a little miss. It also seams worst in the afternoon when it is hot and the AC is on. I changed all the easy things, plugs, cap, rotor, coil, and wires, fuel filter. I don't get any codes when I scan it.

You don't get any codes when you scan it? You should at least get a Code 11, which indicates the system passed.
I'm not sure about the fuel pressure with the car off, but it sounds fine with the car running. I think 35-40psi is the norm.1990 Country Squire - under restoration

39 psi with the engine running. I think thats with the vacuum line on.

u sure it's not the aod searching between drive and overdrive......that causes a hell of a shudder

I get a code 11, but no bad codes, the coil is new (the red MSD coil). Didn't check the timing, and this happens at 25 to 35 mph too. It will also do it if I put it in "D" or in "OD". i think you are trying to fix the "lopo miss curse" i spent days trying to fix a 87 grand marquis coupe doing the same thing.....i did fix a bunch of serious problems and it got better, but it did not totally go away, but as i said his car was throwing tons of codes, and there were problems before

I guess your right. I need to pull the AIR pump and all the junk that goes with it and replace the vac lines. The cats need to go too. Just to let you know I found the cause of the miss. The coil wire was bad!
