    front wheel alingment, how to

Yesterday i was at a garage to have a wheel alingment...
but they´ve got a "little" problem.
They have all the specifications, but they dont know where the adjustment-"screws" are.
has anybody a pic of these adjusting-screws, or whatever they mean.

Leave there and never come back. Obviously they haven't done many alignments.

There are no adjustment scerws. The upper control are is bolted down. You losten the bolts and slide the control arm around till you achieve the desired caster/camber, then you use the tie rod link to adjust tow in.

Well since it's a european place, I guss that can be somewhat forgiven. There are two bolts on the upper contol arm that are the adjustements. They are the upper control arm mounting points to the frame.

And the tie rod ends use a standard threaded sleeve type adjustment, loosen the clamp and turn it. Same type system thats used on huge numbers of cars, Euro and otherwise, so I don't imagine that should be a problem.

            thanks!
the adjusting of the toe in was no problem, but they wheren´t shure about the caster/camber thing, because 3 ford dealers told them different things about it.

The garage was a "toyota" garage, this is the place, where i´m working as a car-dealer (yes, i know... i´m working for the enemy from japan )

Considering Toyotas probably never used the same type of suspension adjustments, or at least not any time recently, its forgivable. Probably even Euro Ford dealers haven't worked on a box panther in a very long time, if ever.
