    Ok...here we gooo

I have the new AOD thats going in the car next week. Its from a mustang so should i change the trans gov. or leave it alone since im doing the HO swap next month? Also at the same time im doing the HO swap i was thinking about doing the IST mass air conversion. Now i have the article from MMFF where they did the swap on lincoln and it looks faily simple. What would be different on my GM? I did the IST swap on a mustang and it was easy[about 2hrs]. I do have plans to put a H/C/I[aftermarket] setup over the winter. So the mass air will be need'd
Let me know what you think

leave it alone. It'll shift OK under normal conditions, WOT might wind a bit too long but if you're doing the HO swap there is no point in changing the governor twice.

Mass air isn't that hard. Wiring mods are the same, but the air plumbing you'll have to work out. The other problem is that you'll lose cruise control. The stock ECM handles cruise functions, Mustang ECMs do not have this ability. There are ways around this if its important to you, basically either leave the stock ECM in place and wired up just enough for cruise functions, or find a controller out of an older (87 and back) Panther to tie in.
